ever missed someone, your heart on lone mode like a cordless phone

Ever missed someone
your heart on lone mode like a cordless phone
your lips cold and cracking no addict
the fingers shiver, the hormones paused like traffic lights
and the lips snigger, hate rolling off sewers
the hairs erect and the ears twitch
hoping to pick up that sound
one that pumps the mounds
lights the smiles that dreams and fuels the miles
like  a vacancy dial waking up a 50’s telephone
when it rings snoozing the table bringing life to a stand still
the brain vibrates to life
the fragrance spreads no flooding
the news burns the failure rumours like a wildfire no youtube no like cubes on countdown
and the clothes locked away in suite cases pressed no news print
the bow ties ger pulled off the record player dusted out of the darkness no Steve Wonder
the blackness conspicous no tuxedo just dressed fine like pure wine
the flowers awake pin stripped no veins but the feelings flow like youthfulness in the bar
dreams are reality no Kardashian
bulging on pregnancy no kimberley
with light at the extreme end guiding each footstep no dark alley
fleecing hope in that random warmth
the heart beat behind a cigarrette butt
but whats a future with none of your favorite star
to give you that loving push
for each unkown endeavour you partake, like  Juvenile puff off an adolscent kush
for the future is bleak and cold without the one you love……..
